CREDITWORTHINESS / SECURITY DEPOSITS |
|
Creditworthiness is a requirement of new customer service.
This can be satisfied by being an owner of the premises or other real estate in Ohio Cumberland’s gas service area; by having a credit score of 660 or greater; by providing customer history from another natural gas company with whom you’ve had service for the past 24 months and the account is current and been timely paid; provide a Guarantor who meets satisfactory credit criteria; or pay a security deposit.
A security deposit may be required as a form of creditworthiness or to re-establish creditworthiness with Ohio Cumberland Gas. Security deposits are calculated on one-twelfth of the estimated charge for regulated service for the ensuing twelve months, plus thirty percent of the monthly estimated charge.
